Events on Campus, from Claire Gibbons, Corporate Communications

Don't forget that there is an events page on the University website where you can advertise ANY events (more or less!) on campus to the whole world.

Have a look here and send details of events to c.s.gibbons1@bradford.ac.uk.

Shout about your events and let everyone know what is going on at the University of Bradford.

For all staff.

New Undergraduate Prospectus, from Corporate Communications

The new 2002 Undergraduate Prospectus has been delivered from the printers, and is now being used for recruitment, particularly at UCAS events throughout the country (making us once again the first university to have produced prospectuses for 2002 entry).

We will be distributing one or two boxes (each box containing 20 prospectuses), as agreed, to each academic department over the next week.

However, as the bulk of the requests for prospectuses come through the Central Enquiries Office we are holding the main stock centrally.

As always, should you require further copies of the prospectus please call Anne Jay on extension 3034 email a.v.jay@bradford.ac.uk.

For all academics.

LSS Planning, from Ruth Whitfield, LSS

In order to establish future needs for:

  • teaching and learning technologies such as Virtual Learning Environments, message boards, etc
  • technical and training support

it would help us to know:

  • how you are currently communicating with your students
  • how you distribute course notes to them
  • how you envisage doing these in the future

Please provide your feedback by completing the on-line survey on the Web here
