The fastest show on earth is getting closer! The Students' Union and Theatre in the Mill are raising money for Rag Week in February by putting together a show in just 24 hours - and then performing it in front of a packed house in the Great Hall. Participants turn up from 7.00pm on Friday 15th February, the show is announced at 7.30pm, and then there are just 24 hours to audition, rehearse, learn lines, songs and dance routines, build the set, rig the lights, make the costumes, sell the tickets and everything else that goes with creating a musical. ANYONE can participate (the more the merrier) and it's free. No experience is necessary at all. Just turn up on the night and be prepared to get stuck in! So far we have staff, students and members of the public registered to take part. If you would rather just watch, the show is at 7.30pm on Saturday 16th February and tickets are available from Theatre in the Mill, costing just £2.50. Ring 01274 233185 or email: artsadmin@bradford.ac.uk to reserve yours. For further details, or to tell us that you are coming to take part (not necessary, just helpful!), contact Susannah Davies, UBU Women's Officer on ext: 3241 or email ubu-womens@bradford.ac.uk
