Excel Spreadsheet which calculates pro-rata leave entitlement for part time staff
The annual leave year started on 1 April, and those staff who work 4 days or less a week, or work different daily hours on 5 or less days a week know that it can be a nightmare to calculate pro-rata entitlements to public holiday, customary days and annual leave.
Click on the link below to access a spreadsheet which should do the hard work for you!

Nursery would like to organise the 3 or 4 week Summer Club during the school holidays.
Possible dates are:
However, due to the poor attendance last year we really need to have some idea in advance if running the scheme this year will be a viable option.
The problem last year was that parents booked their children into the Club and then at short notice, took them on holiday or they booked places but then didn't turn up.
We had to pay for extra staff for the numbers booked and we can't afford to run the scheme if this happens again.
Would any parents interested in this year's Summer Club please contact Nursery on ext. 4866 before the end of April in order for us to monitor possible interest, and make the appropriate arrangements.
Thanks in advance
Glenda Dekker, Nursery
Once a month, on either a Saturday or a Sunday, there is a day trip for international students to places of interest around the country.
If you would be interested in joining a 'pool' of volunteers who can act now and again as a chaperone (main duty = head counting, and name checking from a list) please contact Sue Baker ext 3080, or email s.m.baker@bradford.ac.uk
Many thanks
