Funding Support

The University is able to work with businesses and the community to help gain access to funding available from a variety of sources. 

Funding support is available for Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs - TSB and Research Council funded), and grants for research and development.  Our staff have valuable experience in submitting successful bids to these funding sources. We also have good background knowledge of a number of research support initiatives such as R&D tax credits which can assist companies in funding research activity at the University.

Our placement schemes offer financial incentives for businesses. Our Summer and Autumn Experience Programmes are tax and national insurance exempt.  Graduate internships, when available, are partly subsidised, with the business paying as little as £150 per week. All our placement and internship opportunities save companies money because we take on the time and effort involved in matching a student to your organisation and project.
