All applications for full-time undergraduate degree courses must be submited via UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service). You can apply online and full instructions can be found at (External) www.ucas.com
UCAS also provides a comprehensive guide called Applying Online which can be downloaded from the same web address. Alternatively, you can contact UCAS directly by e-mailing app.req@ucas.ac.uk . You may also contact your nearest British Council Office for advice.
For entry in September 2009, you should aim to submit your application for receipt by UCAS anytime from September 2008 to June 2009. It is advisible to apply as early as possible, especially if you are applying for a popular course.

We may make an offer conditional upon your successful completion of a certain qualification.

The majority of research students start in September, but it is possible in some Schools to start with effect from January, April or July. Typical periods of registration for full-time research are fifteen months (minimum twelve) for an MPhil, and three years for a PhD.
