The project involves six partners, three from the EU, one from China, one from South Asia (Nepal), and one from South East Asia (Thailand):

The University of Bradford (UniBrad), Bradford, UK
UniBrad is one of the most renowned technology-oriented universities in UK,
with over 10,000 students enrolled and over 440 academic staff. The school
of informatics, one of the largest schools at UniBrad, has 51 academic staff
and about 900 students. The school specialises in undergraduate, postgraduate
and research in the fields of software engineering, performance modelling,
mobile computing, intelligent information systems, and optimisation. Modelling,
Optimisation, Scheduling And Intelligent Computing (MOSAIC) research group
is one of seven research groups at School of Informatics, UniBrad. The Bradford

Staffordshire University (UniStaff), Stafford, UK
UniStaff is a large university with approximately 12,000 full-time and 3000
part-time students. In addition, the University has some 5000 students studying
overseas on Staffordshire University awards. The Faculty of Computing, Engineering
& Technology is a leading centre for innovation and practical scholarship,
which offers modern programmes of study, enterprise partnerships with business
and industry and an active research programme. The UniStaff East-West team

Lumière University of Lyon (ULL), Lyon, France
Lumière University of Lyon belongs to "Region Rhône-Alpes"
area of France. The EDIIS doctoral school at ULL was set up in 1995 and has
currently 85 Professors and associate professors "Maîtres de Conférences",
nearly 120 research students and 150 Masters students. EDIIS specialises in
postgraduate and research in the field of Decision Making and Cooperative
systems for the Enterprise, Supply Chain Management, Data Mining and Knowledge

Chiangmai University (CU), Chiangmai, Thailand
Chiangmai University (CU), a main government university in northern Thailand,
has around 20,000 students and around 2,000 academic staff. CU has just established
a new college called College of Arts, Media and Technology (CAMT). CAMT focuses
on human resource development and innovation in ICT for tourism, handicraft
and software industries in Northern Thailand. CAMT is aiming at offering some
undergraduate programmes related to software engineering, animation, e-tourism
and craft design. The CU East-West team has 2 members:

Kantipur Engineering College (KEC), Kathmandu, Nepal
Kantipur Engineering College (KEC) is a leading private engineering college
in Nepal affiliated to Tribhuvan University of Nepal. KEC has been running
three Bachelor Engineering programmes of Tribhuvan University: Civil, Electronics,
and Computer Engineering, which are 4 year degree programmes. The college
has already enjoyed the graduations of three batches of its Bachelor students.

Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), Shanghai, China
Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) is one of the top universities in China
and provides courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. SJTU has 20
academic schools, 55 undergraduate programs, 103 masters-degree programs,
93 Ph.D programs, as well as programs of MBA and Master of Engineering programs,
16 post-doctorate programs, 16 State key doctorate programs and 14 State key
laboratories and National engineering centres. SJTU has more than 6200 faculty
members, of which 578 are full professors. SJTU has been actively involved
in International academic exchange programs with foreign universities. The
