Centre for Psychology Studies

History & About Us

Where we are

The Centre for Psychology Studies is located within the Richmond Building on the main University campus on Great Horton Road, just outside the city centre. For details about our location, please see the University map of the main campus .

History

The Centre for Psychology Studies was established in 2005 to deliver (External) British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited courses in psychology. The Centre exists within the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH), and comprises staff from the School of Social and International Studies and the School of Life Sciences . There are also a number of other courses that combine psychology with other subjects, which are delivered outside of the Centre for Psychology Studies, by other members of SSH. If you are interested in studying psychology in combination with a language, or as part of the Interdisciplinary Human Studies programme, see the SSH psychology course pages .
