Annual Report

Learning and Teaching

The academic year 2009/10 was a year of celebration and achievement for Learning and Teaching at the University of Bradford.

Applications to study at the University of Bradford were up by six per cent compared to the academic year 2008/09.  We have also retained our popular reputation with overseas students, resulting in a high volume of applications from overseas and EU based students.  This diversity continues to give a rich cultural mix to our student body and campus.

All of our courses are built with graduate employability in mind.  70% of our courses are accredited by professional bodies and also offer placements and work experience schemes to support them.  Placements give students real-life experience of working in the area they are studying and ensures that they are ready to start their career at the highest standard when they graduate.
