    Relaxation

    Water droplet.

Relaxation is a great way of calming your body and mind and helping your to feel less stressed and anxious. This in turn will help your sleep, work and play. Ideally, you should try and set time aside for relaxation every day, but any amount will be helpful. If you feel your stress levels or anxiety are causing you problems, come and talk with a counsellor and / or go and see your doctor.

Before starting relaxation, make sure you are comfortable in terms of your clothing and where you sit or lie. Find a time when you are unlikely to be disturbed and turn off your phone.

Finding the right relaxation programme is a matter of individual taste so experiment until you find something that suits you. Here is a selection online that you can try.
