Single Honours Degrees in Economics  

Our range of four single honours degrees allows you to focus your studies in a particular area of economics.

The BSc (Hons) Economics degree gives you the widest opportunity to shape your learning by choosing modules that interest you. Our modules range encompasses business, finance, social, or international economics.

Our other single honours degrees are designed for students who wish to specialise in either business, finance or international aspects of economics.

All our degrees offer you the opportunity to explore topical issues affecting the world around us from both a theoretical and a practical perspective.

BSc (Hons) Economics and International Economics

This degree combines the study of economic principles with a focus on international trade, international monetary systems and globalisation, to equip you with a rich set of skills and knowledge of the contemporary world economy, providing you with an excellent foundation for a career in finance, business or government.

BSc (Hons) Financial Economics

By combining the study of financial markets, financial institutions and the wider economy, our degree equips you with a rich set of skills and knowledge providing you with an excellent foundation for a career in finance or business.

BSc (Hons) Business Economics

By combining study of the operational aspects of business with an appreciation of the wider economic and market environment, our degree equips you with a rich set of skills and knowledge that will give you a great foundation for a career in business.

BSc (Hons) Economics

Our degree in Economics provides you with the skills to assess public policy questions like these from both a theoretical and practical perspective. You will develop a deep understanding of the economy and of the foundations of economic policy.
