Social Science and Criminal Justice Studies

School of Social land International Studies students.  

The Division offers expertise in Criminal Justice at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate level , as well as Sociology degrees and Joint Honours Psychology degrees at Undergraduate level. Staff in the Division have strong links with employers and several degrees have been developed in direct repsonse to employer needs, for example our newly developed MSc in Human Trafficking and Contemporary Slavery.

The BA (Hons) Applied Criminal Justice degrees offers placements for students in order to gain practical hands-on experience, and the Postgraduate degree encourages students to undertake research within a work setting .

Research in the Division concentrates on Identities, Diversities and Criminal Justice.
