If you have an interest in how to set up and run a successful business - this course is for you. It is particularly useful if you have an existing business idea you want to explore, though it is not a prerequisite of the course.
This course is delivered by professionals who have experience of setting up a business. The course is practice-based, allowing you to draw on your own ability and develop your employability and entrepreneurial skills.
This course will help you develop the ability to explore a business idea. You will also acquire a good understanding of how to nurture, support and run a business.

The course involves practical taught sessions of around 36 hours, along with guided study over a 12 week period. Sessions are delivered as evening or daytime sessions. Teaching will take place on campus or in community venues.
On successful completion of the course you will gain 20 credits at Foundation level. Following this you may wish to join the
Bradford Foundation Year
.
There is no expectation that you will set up a business on completion of the course, but we can offer further support and guidance to do this if you wish.
£300 (£150 per 10 credit module)
You will be admitted on the basis of your ability to benefit from the course of study and you should be aware that this 20 credit module is at level 0 (foundation level).
