(External) QAA - Quality Code Chapter B10: Management of Collaborative Arrangements
This guidance describes the processes for the approval, monitoring and review of taught provision involving partner organisations. The Academic Quality Unit is the first point of contact for advice and guidance on approval, monitoring and review of taught provision.
Detailed guidance on the wider aspects of establishing and managing collaborative provision is available from the Academic Partnerships Office and is set out in the University’s Guide to the Management of Collaborative Provision . The Academic Partnerships Office is the first point of contact in relation to partnership arrangements.
The Academic Quality Unit and the Academic Partnership Office work closely together to ensure that the quality assurance regulations, procedures and processes associated with assuring the management of collaborative arrangements are adhered to.
Partnership proposals, annual monitoring reports and critical appraisals for periodic review, plus the associated documents, must first be considered by the School Board or a School committee acting under delegated authority from the School Board. Only School-approved documentation will be accepted by the relevant University body.
Please remember that Academic Quality Officers are here to support you. The earlier you talk to us, the more time, and therefore money, you could save.
