The Bradford DBA takes place within a truly international context at Bradford School of Management. Our experienced academic staff are drawn from diverse industry and academic sectors from all over the world, and you will be studying within a thriving community of students from a wide range of nationalities and backgrounds. Our DBA students conduct their studies from many different locations, and benefit from learning and networking opportunities on an international scale.

Global network

As part of the Bradford DBA programme, you will have the opportunity to attend our DBA peer-review workshops in such locations as Bradford, Bonn, Mainz and Utrecht.

Research expertise and real-world links

• Our faculty is highly experienced in delivering research training and in supervising doctoral projects in management. Unlike many DBA programmes, we only use supervisors who are experienced both in research and doctoral level supervision.  The majority of our research is carried out in collaboration with individual organisations, and therefore reflects real-world issues and concerns, along with the most rigorous academic standards.
• Our full-time faculty and visiting fellows have expertise covering all the main areas of business administration, gained from their own research, teaching, consultancy and practical management experience.
• We offer excellent resources for management learning, including one of Europe's best-resourced management libraries and some of the most up-to-date teaching technology.
• Access to many of our resources is available flexibly and on-demand via the Internet.

Diverse research outcomes

Students choose their own research topic, based on their individual and organisational needs. The range of topics is therefore vast. Just a sample of the research projects recently undertaken by DBA students include: Measuring the Efficiency of Customer Retention Programmes, Productivity Improvement in Small and Medium-Size Enterprises, Organisational Learning in Context, External Communication and Corporate Performance, and Managing Cultural Integration in International Joint Ventures.
