Paying for your postgraduate education is a considerable investment. By taking this step you will distinguish yourself in your chosen career or research field.
Before you apply for many of the grants available you need to have been accepted on a course, but there is nothing to stop you gathering information in the first place. You should also indicate on your application if you are interested in available grants and we will send you more information.
The University offers a bursary to UK and EU postgraduate students on Master’s courses or a PhD programme of research.
To be eligible for the bursary you must have graduated from your undergraduate degree programme within the last five years, and have received a contribution towards your fees from your Local Authority in your final year of study or a means-tested maintenance grant or bursary if you started your degree in 2006 or later.
You will need to prove that you received this fee contribution, grant or bursary by providing a copy of your financial support notification or bursary letter. As an EU student you may be entitled to receive this bursary if you received a bursary during your undergraduate study in the UK.
The bursary is worth £500 and is paid in March provided that you are progressing satisfactorily on your course. For more information email pgbursaries@bradford.ac.uk or call 01274 236505.
The following information relates to payment terms for your chosen postgraduate study.
Candidates enrolling for MPhil/PhD who are eligible to complete a Graduate School Postgraduate Diploma are not charged tuition fees in addition to those for MPhil/PhD registration.
