University of Bradford
We believe psychology is both an exciting and a challenging discipline. Not everyone has knowledge or experience of psychology before they come to university, so we offer a range of activities with local schools and colleges to share both our knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject. We are committed to widening participation in Higher Education, and are actively involved in a number of schemes aimed at raising aspirations and attainment for those in secondary and further education.
Activities for pupils aged 14 upwards, studying for GCSE and A-levels.
Primary Fun Days
A series of activities aimed at primary school pupils to raise aspirations and attainment before entering secondary school.
Higher Education Summer School
5-day programme for year-11 pupils. Completing the Summer School provides credit towards UCAS application to Bradford University.
The Bradford Compact Scheme (Activity Days)
Our Activity Days give F.E. students a taste of university life, including mini-lectures, lab-based activities, and tours of campus and facilities. The Compact Scheme also offers the opportunity to complete additional work which counts as 30 UCAS points towards an application to the University of Bradford.
