Jaguar and IBM among Industrial Visitors Supporting EDT’s Recruitment Fair

EDT’s annual recruitment fair in the University’s Student Central attracts top companies

The EDT recruitment fair takes place every year around November and is an excellent opportunity for our students to make links with some of the UK’s top companies and to find out about opportunities for graduate jobs, paid industrial placements and summer placements.

“This was our biggest and best EDT Recruitment Fair to date.” Said Connie Heyes, Industrial Placements Co-ordinator for EDT. “Our new location in the Learning Mall of Student Central proved to be an excellent venue and we estimate that well over 500 students attended on the day.”

The event was supported by many national companies/organisations including the following:-

Jaguar

Land Rover

IBM
BAE Systems
Northern Powergrid
FDM Group
EA Technology
General Motors
Cummins Engines
Teach First
Gradcracker
Deanslist
There was also excellent support from local companies e.g.Yorkshire Water; DePuy Orthopaedics; BASF Performance Products; Denso Marston; Cameron, and Enterprise-Rent-a-Car. The National Metals Technology Centre was also there promoting its AEM Futures recruitment for graduate and placement roles.
All these exhibitors had a common purpose: to recruit for their graduate or placement programmes.
Students also had their CVs checked at the CV clinic andfound out about summer experience@bradford and European placements.
