What do you want to do with SAINT?
I want to...
...get access to SAINT
-
If you are a member of University staff and need access to SAINT, please ask your line manager to contact the ICT Service Desk
(
ICTServiceDesk@bradford.ac.uk
or call x3333).
The Service Desk will add SAINT to your user profile and the SAINT Team will set up your access and send you an email with the details.
-
If you are working at the University, but are not employed by the University (e.g. temporary staff), please read this document on
Creation of IT Accounts for Staff
for instructions.
-
Once you have access to SAINT, you may find the
Introduction to SAINT
document useful, and perhaps some of the other documents in the

...deal with marks/progression and award
Progression and Award can be broken down into 3 parts:
-
Part 1: Pre-Assessment Committee
- entering marks and producing documentation for Assessment Committees (also known as Brad reports)
-
Some schools also use
Sigma AC
to produce statistics for the Assessment Committee
(instructions in the Part 1 documentation above)
-
Part 2: Pre-Board of Examiners
- confirming the marks agreed by the Assessment Committee and producing documentation for the Board of Examiners
-
For 2009, there is a new, web-based report for the Board of Examiners. The Part 2 documentation (above) details how to use this report.
-
The link to the reports is
here
-
To convert web-based reports into Excel for printing (UG only), there is an
Excel 2007 macro
and instructions on
how to use the Excel macro
.
-
Part 3: Post-Board of Examiners
- confirming the decisions agreed by the Board of Examiners and producing pass lists and results letters
Our one-page
crib sheet
covers the entire process - useful as a prompt sheet! There is also a
list of FAQs
from the training sessions held in April/May 2009.
