The School of Lifelong Education and Development is the University's base for part-time students and those entering Higher Education via non-traditional routes.

We offer many forms of part-time study, including flexible degrees and the Civic & Community Education Programme of lectures and dayschools, as well as providing academic support and guidance to part-time students.

The School is the focus for linking the University's Widening Participation and Learning and Teaching Strategies, and is the driver of the Lifelong Learning agenda. There is also a growing research base at the School.

The School is a member of (External) EUCEN , the European Universities Continuing Education Network.

The School is a participant in (External) the Mirpur Connection , Bradford's link to educational institutions in Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
