Ecoversity
The Local Action Task Group is part of Ecoversity and has been set up to support the sustainable work/actions that staff and students are undertaking in their
departments and community spaces on campus. This is not restricted to work undertaken as part of your School Plans - in fact the group is there to encourage staff to take a lead with their own sustainable projects falling outside their Schools standard remit. To start your own group or find out what is happening in your School or area see information and

We are looking for Staff & Students from different departments, interested in working together to promote sustainability and action for change in the workplace.
You may want to make some big changes in the workplace...or maybe you are ready to undertake a new but small challenge to get you started. Ecoversity would like to introduce it's first Local action Group Self Assessment Checklist which enables you to look at different areas of your working life and score against the checklist.
If you are already a member of a Local Action Group this tool can assist your group cover all the essential areas of sustainability in the workplace, If you are a newbie - please pick one or two things from the checklist to get you going or take a look at our links which give you further ideas about undertaking sustainable practices and reducing your carbon footprint.
