Alumni ambassador role profile

The role played by our alumni in raising and maintaining brand awareness of the School both in the UK and overseas is very important and we are looking to increase this further through the recruitment of Bradford University, School of Management Alumni Ambassadors.

Working alongside the School's recruitment, admissions and alumni offices, Alumni Ambassadors will become a key point of contact for the School, acting in an advisory capacity and raising brand awareness of the school at a local level.

Ambassadors fulfill an invaluable role by offering information advice and guidance and by promoting social and professional networks in their region. The role of an alumni Ambassador is very demanding and requires a significant level of commitment. The duration of an individual's ambassador role can be assessed on an individual basis but will be for a minimum term of one year and preferably longer. It is therefore advisable to carefully consider the commitment you are able to make before applying.

Ambassadors will be provided with a University e-mail address and will be granted access to School of Management branding and literature where necessary. Certain expenses will be reimbursed providing they have been agreed upon, in advance, on an individual basis.

Applications are invited from all School of Management alumni.

Note

Although the above responsibilities cover a wide range we would like to make clear that these have been listed to cover all possible activity ambassadors may be involved in. We appreciate that alumni have other full-time commitments and so ambassadors would not be obliged to conduct each and every activity.
