We continue to witness a surge of interest in leadership, leadership development and executive coaching and yet comparatively little time is spent to explore the impact of this on our working lives. The session will review Mark's recent research looking at how net present value techniques can be applied to intergenerational projects. This is of direct to relevance to managers involved in evaluating the economic attractiveness of the proposed new generation of nuclear power stations and those undertaking long term environmental sustainability projects. It also addresses some of the most pressing problems facing policy makers who must decide on the urgency of implementing carbon dioxide emissions abatement programmes in response to the Stern Review on the Economics of Climate Change
