About Knowledge Transfer (Anorak Section)
Knowledge Transfer Networks
Thinking space for head and heart - action for business
10 years of successful Knowledge Transfer from a Global 100 Business School, in the heart of Yorkshire. Working with Business Executives to drive Growth and Innovation through the development and application of leading edge Knowledge.
So whether its bespoke Executive Education and Development, Workshops, Coaching and Mentoring or Consultancy you have landed in the right place
We follow a rich evidence base of methodologies that really work for our clients. These lean heavily on ideas around social practice - that is people learning to learn, applying new knowledge and in turn creating their own new knowledge - to grow and innovate, to create ideas - to make progress.
What's in the Networks?
There are four Networks, each with a slightly different focus but with shared practice and a number of shared and interwoven services.
-
Knowledge Transfer Network
is the daddy of our Business Engagement brands. It is the engine which feeds all our other work and drives our contacts with the business community. The KTN at least once per month gives you access to top class speakers from large firms and small, from academics and public figures, speaking on cutting edge management and economic topics or current events.

Director Support Network
- Facilitated peer to peer group working, unpacking and problem solving amongst a small trusted group of directorial peers from a range of industry sectors. This is a challenging environment but can lead to unique insights and innovations and deep personal satisfaction, revelations and learning.
-
20.20 Club
- This new development from the Director Support Network operates as an Executive Club. This revolves around full days: facilitated problems solving with directorial peers, but also visits to other businesses, master-classes and workshops. The mix is defined by the group. These groups can be built with a sectoral focus i.e. professionals or manufacturing business, or just focused on Senior Executives of Large, Large Medium and Super-Growth companies to share the pains and successes of their position, learn from best practice and to solve the issues of the day in a supportive environment.
-
SME Knowledge Network
- The focus in the SME Knowledge Network is on discrete public funded programmes. Currently, the network operates an ERDF funded programme in Calderdale, in partnership with the Calderdale council and Leeds Metropolitan University. SME Knowledge Network workshops, networking events, Director Support Networks and various coaching and mentoring services can be used to overcome barriers to growth and the realization of business opportunities.
