Entry Requirements

Who are you?

You will be a highly motivated business graduate, working at a senior level in your organisation and at the forefront of your discipline.

You will be working in private, public, governmental or not-for-profit organisations in any country in the world.

You will see the benefit of gaining experience through conducting research and networking with other top executives in an international, research-led environment.

You will be able to turn this exceptional personal and professional development opportunity into a career-enhancing business and management achievement.

You should:

• have an MBA or equivalent qualification with 3-5 years management experience since completing your MBA, and should have an average performance at 50 per cent or above in all assessed units
• have at least five years' relevant management experience
• be able to conduct your research in one or more organisations
• be proficient in English, if this is not your first language
• Alternative entry arrangements are available for senior professional and managerial staff without an MBA.  Please get in touch for information.

Where relevant to your proposed research project, you may be required to obtain a letter of support from your current employer.

Fluency in English

The programme is delivered and examined in English, so you must be able to prove your fluency in the language if it is not your mother tongue. Evidence of fluency includes residence in an Anglophone country for three or more years before starting the course, or an adequate grade in an approved test of English.

Three such tests are available internationally:

• The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), in which a score of 580 in the written TOEFL or 240 in the computer-based TOEFL is the minimum requirement.
• The International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) test, administered by the British Council, in which scores of 6 or more in all bands and an overall score in Band 7 are required.
• The Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate Certificate of Proficiency in English, Grades A-C.

If you have narrowly failed to meet these standards, you can take a six, ten or 20-week summer course at the University of Bradford Language Unit, to make up the difference.
