Courses at Bradford

Bradford's new initiative in chemistry introduces a fourth phase of chemistry teaching into the University. The innovative chemistry provision has been designed in response to graduate employer needs in the 21st century. Specialist pathways in the programmes provide specific training for the practice of chemistry in major employment sectors.

MChem Chemistry (3-year + 1-year placement)

for careers across the spectrum of employment from specialist science to finance, management and teaching

MChem Chemistry for Analysis (3-year + 1-year placement)

for careers in molecular measurement, product quality and analytical sciences

MChem Chemistry for Drug Discovery (3-year + 1-year placement)

for careers in designing new drugs to combat disease

MChem Chemistry for Medicines Development (3-year + 1-year placement)

for careers in formulating new medicines for pharmacy

MChem Chemistry for Forensic Sciences (3-year + 1-year placement)

for careers in Forensic and Crime Scene sciences

MChem Chemistry for Pharmaceutical and Forensic Sciences (3-year + 1-year placement)

for flexible learning towards careers in Forensic or Pharmaceutical sciences

MSci Forensic and Medical Sciences (4 years or 3 years depending on route)

The focus of this bioscience-based course is on developing your core skills in the biological sciences, and their application in medical sciences and forensic casework.

BSc Forensic Science (3-year + 1-year placement)

This course provides a chemistry-based pathway.
