What if you change your mind?
I have to abide by the ethics in research of my university and would certainly not want to persuade or force you to do something that you are not comfortable with so there are a couple of choices here:
- You could send me a mail or give me a ring to get more info or discuss your choice. This might help you to decide whether to carry on with a contribution or decide to give it a miss.
- If you've already sent a story and am still happy for me to use some of it but want to take out sections of it (maybe you ended up feeling like you had included too many deeply personal details, for example) then I am happy to use another version of your story instead. This can happen any time up to the cut-off date.
- You have the right to withdraw completely. You can do this by sending me a mail or letter asking to withdraw. I am bound to respect this decision and would not be in contact at a later date to try to persuade you otherwise or judge you because of your decision. If you withdraw I can return your story and delete any copies I have. You can make this decision anytime up to the cut-off date with no problem. It's your decision and your right to do so.
What if you have a problem with the project and want to take it further?
