Media, Design and Technology

 

Film and Media 

Our courses will develop your understanding and appreciation of the fast changing film and media landscape and acquire new skills with our outstanding facilities and equipment. Our partners include the BBC, the world-class National Media Museum and Creative Skillset, the industry body which supports skills and training in the creative industries. And you will be studying in UNESCO's first City of Film.

 

Games, Animation and Visual Effects

Our courses in Games, Animation and Visual Effects develop your experience and understanding in a wide range of creative, technical and practical modules. We have a unique partnership with the National Media Museum (external link), which is home to Bradford Animation Festival, BAF (external link) - one of the largest annual animation and games festivals in the UK.

 

Design and Technology

Product Design is an applied art working within the boundaries of science and manufacturing. Our Product Design team work extensively with academic and industrial partners to ensure that we remain up to date in this fast-moving field. Our computer modelling facilities are state-of-the-art and include industrial-standard 3D solid and surface modelling packages AutoDesk Alias and SolidWorks, as well as Mac-based suites containing Adobe Creative Suite.
