Applying for your course

All applications to be considered for full-time undergraduate degree courses at this University (including Foundation Degrees) must be submitted via UCAS’s (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) online facility (apply). Your school or college will be able to advise you regarding application practices and procedures. Alternatively, full instructions (including help text where appropriate) to make it as easy as possible for you to fill in your online application can be found at: www.ucas.com/ (link will open in a new window)

UCAS also provide a comprehensive guide called Applying Online which can be downloaded from the same web address. If you are not currently at school or college, or have difficulty obtaining relevant literature, UCAS can be contacted directly (Tel: 0870 1122211, Email: app.req@ucas.ac.uk, Website www.ucas.com/ (link will open in a new window)).

International applicants living outside the UK (EU and worldwide) may obtain advice directly from UCAS (see above) or by contacting their nearest British Council Office or similar centre.

Closing Dates

For entry in September 2008, you should aim to submit your application for receipt by UCAS after September 2007 and before 15 January 2008. Note: If you are also intending to apply for either Oxford or Cambridge, or include applications to medicine, dentistry or veterinary medicine/science, your application should reach UCAS no later than 15 October 2007.

For 2008-entry, applications for the Advanced Diploma in Nursing should also be submitted via UCAS (contact details as above) and not NMAS as in previous years.
