Research & Knowledge Transfer Support (RKTS) Lead Contacts
RKTS lead contacts (listed below), developed in 2009, are there to
ensure RKTS have proactive links with academic schools at the
University of Bradford to enhance the support we provide, indenfity
opportunities to develop R&KT activity and ensure enquiries and
referrals are handled appropriately.
Each lead contact will:
- Have discussions with Associate Dean/R&KT Centre Director to
identify RKTS support required and strategies for assisting in the
delivery of R&KT elements of School Strategic Plans/R&KT Centre
Business Plans.
- Be the primary initial point of contact for academic R&KT related enquiries.
- Monitor R&KT activities to identify key academics, R&KT
profile (key indicators over past 3 years), future plans and key areas
of expertise.
- Attend Research Group meetings
- Provide ongoing contact with key academics
- Maintain a summary log of key R&KT activity within the contact area.
- Work with identified Business Development Manager/KT Manager to
ensure appropriate contact, support and referral mechanisms are in
place. The role of the RKTS Lead Contact will develop to complement
School/Centre resource.
- Act as the link person back to RKTS Colleagues to ensure enquiries/tasks are appropriately channelled.
- Attend weekly RKTS Lead Contact meetings to review allocation of tasks and identify key priorities.
