What is the Braduate Fund

The Braduate Fund was established in 2010 to enable the goodwill of alumni and friends of the University to benefit students currently studying at Bradford, and those who will follow in future.

The Braduate Fund offers a choice of initiatives for supporters and for donors. Donors can choose from the following list how they would prefer their donation to be used:

  • Where the need is greatest
  • Scholarships and Hardship
  • Student Resources and Student Life

Who is eligible?

Students, Schools, Departments and Societies of the University of Bradford may submit an application for a grant from Where the need is Greatest and Student Resources and Student Life. Scholarship and Hardship funds will be managed by the relevant University committees.

What type of projects will the Braduate Fund support?

The Disbursement Committee will consider applications under the following elements or categories. The overall aim is to make possible extra and special opportunities which are not funded by conventional funding and that will make a significant contribution to the Bradford experience.

Where the need is greatest

Grants from this fund will support projects at Bradford which are in most pressing need. These could include activities, purchases of equipment, changes to the University environment, or other projects that benefit current and future Bradford students.

Student Resources and Student Life

Grants from this fund will be used to enable students to broaden their horizons through sports, arts or volunteering opportunities, new research or study facilities, equipment for student societies, and student activities.

Most grants will be between £200 and £2,000 but under exceptional circumstances larger grants may be made at the Committee’s discretion

See list of recently funded projects.

When can I apply?
