The University requires permits to be displayed on the vehicles of all staff, students and visitors who park on the University's car parks during the period 9.00-17.30, Monday to Friday.
Student Parking
All students will receive details of car parking arrangements and charges in their registration packs. Details are also available from Security in the Richmond Building.
Parking on the University site is limited and the purchase of a permit does not guarantee a space.
We advise you to consider travelling travel by public transport or to park in one of the local public car parks, shown on the map at http://bradford.ac.uk/media/EstatesandFacilities/AllFiles/Documents/Local-Car-Parks.pdf
Alternatively on street parking is available in local residential streets, subject to signposted restrictions.
Full Time Students
The number of student permits is limited. New and returning students should visit http://carparking.brad.ac.uk/default.asp to apply for a permit. Permits are charged at £95 per year for students.
Part Time Students
Students can purchase a book of 20 occasional user permits at a cost of £32 from the reception in the Richmond Building. These are available for part time students and full time students who use a car to come to University on an infrequent basis.
Visitor Parking
Authorised visitors can get a free day permit from reception in the Richmond Building to be used in the visitor's car park which is immediately outside the Richmond Building. Spaces are subject to availability.
The location of the visitor's car park is marked with a "P" sign on the map below, access is via the barrier off Great Horton Road.
