Monthly Update - August 2010

Further work has taken place in the last month in the interior of the building, removing the existing structure and preparing for the mechanical and electrical first fixing which will start in September. This will enable the interior of the building to start to take shape with the erection of partitions and corridors, making the building more recognisable from the architects drawings. This work will enable the design trades to access the building after Christmas to start fitting it out to the School's specifications.

Work on the exterior of the building has also become more visible. The concrete frame for the extension is starting to move out of the ground and superstructure works are commencing. Over the next couple of months, the building extension will gradually start to take shape.

Due to the demolition that will be taking place in the short term there will be some noise from the works. Some noise may also be experienced in the medium term from concrete deliveries and the crane hoist. We would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused.
