For entry in September 2012 you should apply online to the University and College Admissions Service (UCAS) at www.ucas.com between September 2011 and 15th January 2012.
You can register your application online with UCAS and complete it gradually.
When you wish to submit your application, you will need to pay a fee (£22 for up to 5 university/course choices and £11 for a single university/course choice). Please apply as early as possible, as some of our courses will only be able to consider applications received before 15th January 2012. The UCAS website includes a guide to completing your application.
However, we would also encourage you to think about including the following information in your personal statement:
Advanced Level Entry Requirements
Please see the relevant pages of the website or University prospectus for the advanced level study entry requirements for each course.
Other Academic Entry Requirements
Numeracy and the ability to calculate is an important part of the healthcare professionals role. Therefore applicants need to demonstrate their skills in this area, through a GCSE Grade C or above in Mathematics or a pass in Key Skills Level 2 Numeracy. Key Skills Level 2 is not acceptable for applicants to Diagnostic Radiography.
GCSE English Language at Grade C or above or Key Skills Level 2 Literacy/Communication is also required for all courses.
Individual courses may have other GCSE requirements. Please see the relevant pages of the website or prospectus for information on specific courses. Please ensure that you have or are studying towards (to complete by Sept 2012) qualifications which will meet the entrance requirements for your chosen course. You do not need to have completed these qualifications before submitting your application.
