Dementia Care Mapping

Woman with Scarf

Dementia Care Mapping (DCM) has been recommended by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence and the Social Care Institute for Excellence, the Audit Commission and the Commission for Health Improvement as a method for improving care practice for people with dementia.

We run a number of courses which explore Dementia Care Mapping.

Short Courses

Short courses in Dementia Care Mapping provide a useful introduction to the subject for those who are interested in learning the DCM method for use in their own practice, or to see if it is something that their organisation could use more broadly for driving forward patient centred care practice. These courses provide the foundation for further DCM training. These short courses are normally run four times per year at Bradford, but we also specialise in delivering bespoke courses to health and social care organisations who have particular requirements.
