I chose to study at Bradford because of the information and encouragement I got when I attended the University Open Day. Although I am a mature student in a diverse multicultural group, the support I get from lecturers and fellow students has made it easier for me to settle and enjoy my course.
I am currently in my 2nd year of the BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing degree and I chose to study Nursing because of my prior experience of working and caring for older adults including those who have a diagnosis of Dementia.
When I qualify I hope to work and care for adults with Dementia in a Nursing Home setting. As a single mother of one, I am proud that my daughter (also pictured on the far right) has since become a Clinical Science Foundation student also at the University of Bradford.
