Career Development Services specialise in finding part-time and vacation work which can be combined with your studies.

We advertise work both on and off campus, and provide help with applications and interviews.  Getting some work experience is not just about putting money in your pocket, it will also help you develop essential skills which employers value. The jobs we advertise are varied, including skilled, course-related opportunities, general clerical work, retail and bar work, manual jobs etc.

The University recommends that you work no more than 15 hours per week during term time.  If you are an international student, there may be some restrictions on your rights to work in the UK whilst studying, although most students are eligible to work.
