The Graduate School
The Graduate School ( http://www.brad.ac.uk/lss/gradschool/) is part of the University's Academic Development Unit which also includes the Learner Development Unit (LDU) and Teaching Quality and Enhancement Group (TQEG). The Graduate School co-ordinates all activities relating to research training within the University. The aims of the Graduate School are to:
- provide high-quality training for postgraduate research students
- meet the research training needs of the University's wider research community including academic staff, contract research staff and research assistants
- represent postgraduate research students within the University and externally

Short courses for researchers
The Graduate School delivers a programme of short courses for researchers that is available to all members of the University Postgraduate research community. These courses are free and are booked on a first-come-first-served basis.
