Managing Change

What do we mean when we talk about managing change?  Well, its about change that has an effect on people.  It encompasses things like:

  • changes in working conditions or location
  • changes in organisational structure
  • changes in policy and work practices
  • changes in systems and procedures
  • changes in the law or university regulations
  • changes in terms and conditions
  • changes in staffing levels

As an organisation we aim to develop the internal capacity for implementing change effectively, where staff are ready, willing and able to change, where projects and initiatives are fully implemented and achieve their intended objectives.  This site concentrates on the people side of change and has gathered good practice from staff at all levels across the institution.
