Maternity Policy

The policy sets out everything you need to know about Maternity Leave provision at the University and includes the forms you need to complete at different stages.  The policy explains:

  • Entitlement to maternity leave
  • Rights to Maternity Pay
    • University Maternity Pay
    • Statutory Maternity pay (SMP)
    • Maternity Allowance
  • How your University Benefits may be affected (annual leave, pension, incremental progression)
  • Health and Safety during pregnancy
  • Returning to work following Maternity leave.

From 1 October 2010 requests and authorisation of Maternity Leave will be via the Other Absence module of Myview
