Trade Unions represented at the University of Bradford

Recognised Unions:

The University of Bradford recognises the following Unions for collective bargaining purposes:

GMB - Britain's General Union
UCU - University and College Union
Unison
Unite the Union

The majority of 'collective issues' which affect all, or a significant number of staff, are discussed locally at a 'single table' at which all of the Unions recognised by the University are represented equally. Pay negotiations for all staff on the HE national single pay spine are held nationally at the Joint National Committee for Higher Education Staff (JNCHES) between representatives of all the recognised Unions and the employers.
