Caption: By going to study or work abroad you can learn a new language and have inside information about new culture. Believe me, in one year I have learnt more about Spain and its language that I would ever do in a lecture hall.

Caption: Suomenlinna Sea Fortress, Helsinki, Finland. Part of the UNESCO World Heritage List for its military architecture, Suomenlinna attracts thousands of tourists with its unique and charming landscapes. The covered in grass houses can make one think of the small houses of the Hobbits.
Caption: Helsinki, Finland. A glimpse of the city viewed from one of the University buildings, with the Central Railway Station building in the background. The juxtaposition of the urban and the nature reflect the creative and artistic spirit and simple at the same time of Finnish people.

Caption: May 2012, U.S. Embassy. During my second year as a university student, I was searching for an internship, attending interviews, and writing motivation letters. I had almost given up faith, and then I found out about the Erasmus opportunities and an internship at the US Embassy.
Caption: As a result, Erasmus became like a bridge to my dream to work at the Embassy; the dream that I had been thinking about since 2009.
Caption: June 2012, U.S. Embassy, Riga, Latvia. The Erasmus internship provided me with new skills and experiences, including being able to meet famous diplomats such as the US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton! This internship has made a great impact on my personal and professional life.
Caption: February 2009, U.S. Embassy, Riga, Latvia. My Erasmus journey stared in the winter of 2009, when I attended the Job Shadow Day at the U.S. Embassy. After this experience I decided that I want to become a diplomat.
