The refurbishment of toilets in the J.B. Priestley Library Floors 1 and 2 is now complete. Work on Floors 0 and 01 commences on 8th February and continues through to mid-March. Work on Floor 02 will follow once Floors 0 and 01 are finished.
Environmentally friendly choices for fixtures and fittings have been made where possible to meet with our Ecoversity principles. Water is being saved through environmentally friendly flushing and hand washing facilities. The installation of highly effective Dyson hand dryers has also allowed us to remove the wasteful paper towels from our toilets.

As of January 2012 all members of the University of Bradford have access to the full-text premium content on EBSCO’s Business Source Complete. The comprehensive coverage includes indexing and abstracts for the top scholarly business journals, dating back as far as 1886.
Access is provided via the Library’s eResource web pages and individual titles may be located via the Library Catalogue.
With BSC, staff and students will enjoy access to nearly 2,000 full-text online journals, including the online edition of Harvard Business Review as well as the top five academic business journals:

From Monday 30 January the Library and IT Help Desk and the Welcome Desk in the J B Priestley Library will close at 19:00 during the week in term time. The J.B. Priestley Library will continue to operate 24hrs for self-service from Monday to Friday during term time. Outside term time opening hours remain unchanged.

The Library have started a project to change some of the class numbers used on Floor 1 (J.B. Priestley Library). The project aims to make it easier for readers to find books, to reduce the cost of new items and to ensure that new items reach the shelves more quickly.
A large number of books will be moved and relabelled. We are working hard to minimise disruption but if you do experience any problems please contact library staff in the offices on Floor 1.
