Membership of the Commonweal Collection

How to Join Commonweal

To join Commonweal you need:

A registration card signed by either the Peace Studies Subject Librarian or a Commonweal trustee.
An identification paper with your name and address on, such as a utility bill or driving licence.
A photo will be taken (or you can turn up and bring a photograph) This process takes about 5 minutes.

Please bring them to the Reception Desk at the J B Priestley Library, University of Bradford, on any weekday between 9 am and 5 pm. The contact number for Reception is 01274-233301.

Access to the Collection

Your Commonweal ticket entitles you to borrow 8 books / videos for 4 weeks (one week for videos)

Commonweal journals are for use on the premises only.

Please Note: Commonweal borrowers are not entitled to use J B Priestley Library materials.

To visit the collection simply ask at the Reception Desk (see opening hours above) in the entrance to the J B Priestley Library and you will be directed to Commonweal.

How to find Commonweal

Commonweal is located in the J B Priestley Library, at the University of Bradford. The J B Priestley Library is in the middle of the University campus, for detailed instructions either contact the main University reception (Richmond Building) or consult the Map of the University Campus.

University Term time: 09:00 till 19.30 Monday-Friday, 09.00 till 18.00 Saturday and Sunday
