Library Services: Booking group study rooms through BRADfinder
Group study rooms are located on
Floors 01, 0, 1 and 2 of the J.B. Priestley Library and Student Central.
They are for the use of groups of between
3 and 6 students. These rooms are strictly for work purposes only.
Strict
terms and conditions apply for room bookings. Please, familiarise yourself with these to avoid being caught out by fines.
How to book a room:
- Go to the Library's list of available Group Study Rooms.
- Click on the room you wish to book.
- Click on Book this room.
- Log in using the 9-digit number on your student card (your UoB number and the issue number) and your Library PIN
(HINT: You can find your Library PIN through eVision, which is linked
from the University's internal homepage.
- Select the date and time you would like to book the room (maximum slot allowed is 2 hours). Click on the SUBMIT
button. Click on the SUBMIT button again.
- The screen will now tell you that your booking has been successful.
- Collect the key at the Library Counter (Floor 0).
NB! Return your key promptly. Fines apply even for a delay of less than 5 minutes.
Cancelling a group study room booking
- Go to http://catalogue.brad.ac.uk and click on Borrower Information.
- Log in using your 9-digit UoB card number and your Library PIN.
- Click on the notice saying 1 item booked for future use.
- Tick the box next to the booking you wish to cancel then click on Cancel selected.
NB! Please cancel bookings you no longer need as it frees a room for other students to use.
