Converting Postscript Files to other Graphic File formats

Most applications produce outputs in many formats including postscript format. However some applications produce output in formats which are not suitable for exporting into other applications (Microsoft Word, AOL, etc.). If you wish to export pictures from these applications, produce the output in the postscript format first and then convert them into the appropriate format in GSview. The format to select depends on the application and the content of the file.

  1. Preview your postscript file.
  2. Start the conversion by clicking on File - Convert.
  3. Change the device to an appropriate format. To convert your postscript file into Portable Network Graphic format, select device names beginning with png.
  4. Click on OK and type an appropriate file name.
  5. Click on Save.
  6. Exit from GSview by selecting File - Exit from the main menu.
