Allowing Bradford Pop-ups in Windows XP Service Pack 2
Windows XP Service Pack 2 blocks pop-ups in Internet Explorer. Certain services run by the University of Bradford require pop-ups to be allowed for them to function properly. This includes Webmail, ResNet and RoamNet logout pop-ups, and some Library Services. We recommend pop-ups should be allowed for Bradford web pages. To do this follow the steps below.
- The 'pop-up blocked' message in Internet Explorer may be displayed as shown below. This might not be on screen for more than a fraction of a second.

- In Internet Explorer pick the 'Pop-Up Blocker Settings' as indicated below.

- As shown below in the 'Address of Web site to allow' box type *.brad.ac.uk

- Click on the add button. The settings will then be something like this below.

Other sites may be configured and appear in the Allowed sites list. Click on the 'Close' box. Configuration is now
complete.
