National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ)

NVQs are nationally recognised competence based qualifications. They are used to recognise existing skills and knowledge, or develop new skills that can be applied in the workplace.

Learner Support Services support only the University's IT NVQ programme.

The following IT NVQ and related qualifications are available for staff only at the University:

• IT Users (ITQ).
• Assessor Award.
• Internal Verifier Award.
