Career Development Services - MSc
The School of Management will provide the support and resources you will need to develop your career plan and become an effective job seeker. While undertaking your MSc programme you will have great opportunity to consider your future career direction - we are here to support this and enable you to be come an effective job seeker. We have dedicated careers support on site, plus a wealth of resource at the Careers Service on the University of Bradford, city campus (www.careers.brad.ac.uk).
The school invited employers and recruiters to post vacancies on the job opportunities board. These opportunities may be aimed at experienced hires with an MBA or provide entry level or early career opportunities for MSc students.

Participants are encouraged to discuss their individual career plans with one of our career coaches; you might want to have your CV checked or simply chat about the job market in general.

Opportunity for a practice / mock interview
You can also choose to use a double guidance appointment to experience a mock interview. These are not guidance sessions to discuss interview technique but opportunities to practice what you have learned from the workshops you have attended and other research you may have undertaken. This is a great opportunity to get some feedback on your performance before you meet an employer at interview.

Guest Lectures - book a place
Employer presentations
Employers target Bradford University to recruit graduates. They will often do a presentation and then hold interviews on campus. Other employer events are designed to give students insights into particular occupations/industry sectors. The Careers Service web site lists all such University/local/national events. www.careers.bradford.ac.uk
AMBA events
We host events for the Association of MBAs, www.mbaworld.com. These events include a buffet and a chance to network with other AMBA members, there is a charge to attend but students can take advantage of a reduced fee if they book a place via the school.
