Centre for Managerial Excellence
The Centre for Managerial Excellence (CME), enables the School of Management to engage in business-focussed research and knowledge exchange locally, nationally and internationally between:
- public, private and third sector organisations
- students: and
- academics
We:
- undertake research that will further extend our knowledge base to be drawn on by business, resulting in additional publications in high-impact journals, and provide information needed across the University as it develops its portfolio of R&KT projects;
- provide problem-focused research into specific issues identified by customers to allow their expansion;
- engage collaboratively with employer organisations and key strategic partners both within Bradford University and across Universities locally and globally, so as to anticipate and explore opportunities that are arising and carry out the research that generates the knowledge required to make the most of such opportunities;
- design and deliver research-based, open and bespoke executive education programmes that enable businesses to compete in the globalised environment of the 21st century;
- enhance business capacity for undertaking research;
- act as a hub for networks internally, locally, regionally, nationally and internationally; and
- use the expertise and networks generated to apply for research funding to undertake broader-based research.
The Centre for Managerial Excellence works closely with the School of Management's Executive Education unit and with the School's Knowledge Transfer Networks. Please go to their web pages to find out more.
