LearnHigher Website on Referencing
At the start of 2007 the Effective Learning Service launched a website on referencing at www.learnhigher.org.uk
The aim of the site is to give all students studying at or with a UK university an overview on referencing generally, advice on avoiding plagiarism, plus information and examples of the main referencing styles found in Britain. The site also contains four interactive exercises.
The site is part of a UK government funded LearnHigher project, which involves
16 partnership universities, and all are working together to produce learning
support resources for students and academic staff. You can find out more about
the LearnHigher project at www.learnhigher.ac.uk
